A beautiful outfit shouldn’t be ruined by being caught in the rain. Each Wilschau garment is designed to bring effortless form and functionality to the modern woman, offering a timeless style that exists outside of seasons and trends.
Style
Wilschau was founded with a desire to correlate fashion heritage with a modern and sustainable approach to design. We do things differently, and use menswear tailors to create styles to flatter the female form.
Excellence
Our view is that exceptional design only comes from the best makers, Wilschau works closely with technologically advanced fabric suppliers. Each Wilschau piece is then carefully manufactured in Paris, the home of elegant womenswear.
Care
Working closely with artisanal makers, Wilschau ensures that their technical expertise meets our dedication to sustainable practice. Waste comes at not only a cost to us, but to the world we live in, and so our focus has always been to create pieces that are not dictated by fashion and seasonality.
Our founder
Olga’s idea to create an outerwear brand came to her while living in London, dealing with unpredictable British weather. With a busy life in the city, she found her wardrobe was lacking versatile cover ups that would suit both her lifestyle, and the rain.
After a decade working in finance, she decided it was time for a career change and studied Fashion Strategic Marketing at the London College of Fashion. In addition to her MA, she completed her creative studies at Central Saint Martins, as well as a business sustainability management course at Cambridge University.
Her studies inspired her to focus on how sustainable practices can help not only the planet, but the way that women style themselves.
Olga founded Wilschau with the modern woman in mind. She drew inspiration and named the brand after her grandmother, whose vision and spirit motivated her to pursue her passion.
